Waves and smiles at City Hall's regal reception
There was a warm welcome for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge when they came to Bradford on Wednesday, 15 January.
The royal couple were received at City Hall, enjoyed milkshakes at My Lahore restaurant and visited local projects which support and promote community cohesion.
Hundreds of people gathered outside City Hall to see the royals. Despite the cold weather, spirits were high, as people cheered and waved flags. The Duke and Duchess walked round Centenary Square, chatting and smiling.
There are lots of wonderful photos and videos from the royal visit on social media. Check the hashtag #RoyalVisitBradford on Twitter or on Instagram, or have a look at our Facebook album.

Bradford Council website problems
At the time of writing this, we are experiencing IT issues affecting our website, associated booking and payments sites and remote access for Council employees. We are having to carry out emergency maintenance on our network and it is unlikely that access will be restored over the weekend.
We apologise for any inconvenience this is causing and would like to assure our customers and residents that we are working hard to resolve the issue at the earliest opportunity.
We have written a blog post including some of the most important information you might need while the website is down.
