Find Out More

DFN Project SEARCH offers a unique opportunity for young adults with learning disabilities, aged 18 to 25, to develop skills for the work place and be supported in their search for employment.

At the presentations you can find out more about the programme, how it works, and how to apply. The team works hard to ensure that we deliver high quality support to the interns, working together to achieve an end goal of paid employment.

At the event you will be able to get further information about Project SEARCH Toftshaw (Next) and Project SEARCH Bradford (BRI). You will meet the Tutors Job Coaches, and some of the Interns. You will find out more about the placements Interns can do as part of the programme. You can also pick up an application pack for the 2020 programme on the day.

The DFN Project SEARCH programme offers greatly enhanced employment outcomes for young people with learning disabilities and autistic spectrum conditions. The programme is open to young people aged between 18 and 25. Most of our Interns will have a current EHCP. We are looking for interns who are reliable, ready to work hard, and are committed to aiming for paid employment at the end of the programme. They should be ready to start in September 2020.
