Real nativity animals in the market create a festive pop up farm scene...

Have you ever seen a donkey, alpaca, a goat, sheep and calf in the middle of your local market? Probably not but this Christmas you just may well do!

Join us at the Market Event Space inside the Oastler Centre on Saturday 14th December between 11am-3pm for a Real Animal Nativity scene. Say hello to real traditional nativity animals who will be located in the middle of the market for people to meet, get to know and pet.

The animals all come from Riggmoor Reindeer and Mobile Petting Farm in Harrogate and this will be the first time that the market has hosted an event like this so do pop along with your little cherubs.

Along with the animals there will also be face painting and craft activities between 11am and 3pm, children can visit Santa in his grotto between 10am and 4pm and members of the Salvation Army will add to the festive atmosphere by singing Christmas carols between 10am and 12pm.
