Photo highlights from the Yorkshire 2019 UCI Road World Championships
 We had a great time celebrating the UCI Road World Championships in the district and we've put together a Flickr album of photographs taken at the races as well as at events held across the district to celebrate.
Countdown to the UCI Road World Championships
 We marked 300 days to go with members of local cycling clubs and local cyclist Sophie Thackray
 At 6 months to go we lit the City Hall clock tower in the UCI colours. Local cyclist and representatives of Yorkshire 2019 including CEO Andy Hindley gathered in Centenary Square.
 We marked 100 days to go with a flag handover in Lister Park.
 50 days to go - we took the flag on a tour. Here it is with members of Ilkley Cycling Club at Ilkley Lido.
Rainbow Jersey Schools Tour
 Children from Green Lane Primary School and Sandal Primary School had a very special assembly when they learnt all about the race and got to meet Mandy Bishop who won the Women Elite Road Race in the 1982 and saw the rainbow jersey that she won. More photos

In the run up to the Yorkshire 2019 UCI Road World Championships there were a number of celebratory events held in the district. These included:
Inter-Schools Cycling Competition
 Children from schools across the district came together to compete in various different cycling disciplines. More photos
Yorkshire Women's Proactive Cycling Conference
 Women (and some men) got together to take part in a whole host of cycling themed presentations, workshops, cycling activities and information stalls at the Yorkshire Women's Proactive Cycling Conference. More photos
Bradford's Big Bike Ride
 People took the opportunity to ride on vehicle-free streets around the city centre for Bradford's Big Bike Ride. The ride started City Park and used some of the roads the top cyclists used in the UCI Road World Championships Women Elite Road Race. More photos.
European partners bike ride
 Partners from across Europe who were in Bradford for meetings and workshops took the opportunity to celebrate the UCI Road World Championships with a bike ride. More photos.

Women Elite Road Race
 The Great Britain Team sign on in Centenary Square.
 The race in Lister Park
The sun came out for the Women Elite Road Race which set off from Centenary Square in the city centre. The route went through Manningham, Lister Park, Frizinghall, Shipley and Baildon. More photos.
Men Elite Road Race
 The riders in the Men Elite Road Race of the world championships which came through Ilkley and Addingham battled torrential rain from the start of the race to the finish. More photos.
Land Art and Route Decoration
 Pupils from the five schools in Baildon helped to create amazing land art at Baildon
 Land art and route dressing was created across the district to welcome the race.
