The statement outlines the standards Bradford Council has set to deliver the Short Breaks service to disabled children and young people and their carers. It also details what Short Break services a disabled child or young person is eligable for and how they can be accessed.

Take part in the Activity Alliance's disabled children and young people's survey

Disabled children and young people deserve the same opportunities to be active as their non-disabled peers. Activity Alliance is undertaking research into the experiences and perceptions of physical activity among disabled children and young people. Part of this research is conducted by asking parents and carers to complete a survey.

Have You Joined The Disabled Children's Register?

The Disabled Children's Register helps Bradford Council and partners with planning what services and support may be needed in the area for children and young people.The Disability Register is used to send out information about SEND support, services, what’s new and consultation.

Who Is It For?
You can join the Disability Register as a parent or carer of a child or young person with SEND, Young Person (16-25yrs) or as a practitioner who works with children and young people with SEND.
