Carriageway Resurfacing

Major Carriageway Resurfacing is planned to take place during September and October 2019 on several roads across the Bradford District. These include the following roads:

  • Laisterdyke A6177 - from Bowling Back Lane to Leeds Road. The Laisterdyke road works will begin on site at 05:00am Saturday 21 September and will be completed by 11:00pm Sunday 22 September. The road will be closed for the duration of the work.
  • Albert Road, Queensbury - from approximately 80m west of Sand Beds to approximately 60m west of New Park Road (which is Brighouse and Denholme Road). The road works on Albert Road, Queensbury will be under full road closure and will take place on Sundays.
  • Halifax Road, Queensbury - just north of Roper Lane to just South of Windy Bank Lane. The road works on Halifax Road will be under a temporary two way traffic light system and will take place Monday to Friday.
  • Smith Lane, Heaton - Daisy Hill Back Lane to Toller Lane. The Smith Lane road works will be completed under a full road closure, in two sections so that the Bradford Royal Infirmary car park is still accessible and will take place Monday to Friday.
  • Hollybank Road, Great Horton - Hollingwood Lane to Great Horton Road. The resurfacing works will be under a full road closure and will take place Monday to Friday.

Advance signs will be set up indicating dates for the works and any road closures.

We apologise for any convenience caused during these essential works.
