There are local elections in the Bradford district on Thursday 2 May. Don't forget to use your vote.
Polling stations open from 7am to 10pm
All polling stations will be open between 7am and 10pm on Thursday. If you are on the electoral register, you will have received a poll card telling you which polling station to vote at. If you have misplaced your poll card you can search for your polling station on our website.
How to vote
The staff at the polling station will give you a ballot paper. You should then take your ballot paper into a polling booth so that noone can see how you vote. Mark your vote, and then put your folded ballot paper in the ballot box.
A pencil will be provided for you to cast your vote, but you can use your own pen if you prefer.
If you are not sure what to do, please ask our staff at the polling station to help you.
Everyone should be able to vote with confidence. If you need support to cast your vote, this will be made available to you at the polling station.
Large print ballot paper, tactile voting devices and visual aids are available at the polling station, and assistance dogs can be taken into the polling station with you.
If you have a carer or a support worker they can help you to cast your vote, or the Presiding Officer at each polling station can also help you to do this.
You can find more information about voting at a polling station on our website.
