Did you know this week is National Gardening Week?

If you've been busy in your garden over the Easter break, don't forget, it’s now time to subscribe to the garden waste collection service. If you want to have your garden waste collected, you can subscribe to the annual service which runs from 1 June 2019 until 31 May 2020 with no collections in December.

If you have previously subscribed to the service you should already have received a renewal notice by email or in the post.

Find your local Household Waste Recycling Centre

You can take any extra waste, including garden waste and large items, to your local household waste recycling centre for free, where as much as possible will be recycled. You can use any of the eight household waste recycling centres in the Bradford district.

Find your nearest site and what materials can be recycled

Don’t forget - you will need to take your residents permit with you! If you are a resident and own a van or trailer above 1.5m and wish to dispose of household waste then you still need a van permit. The current restrictions on trade vehicles using our recycling centres still remain in place.

Please don’t use unlicensed waste carriers – if you do, you’re breaking the law too!
