Venues across Bradford, including the National Science and Media Museum, City Library, Kala Sangam, BCB 106.6FM, Impressions Gallery, join forces to stage the Bradford Family Learning Festival from 20 to 28 October.

The Festival is full of FREE amazing activities which take place just before and throughout half term.

Activities include creating your own radio programme, retro gaming and meeting the stars of CBBC’s The Dengineers.

All activities are for parents and children to take part in together.

23 and 24 October 

Bounce Planet is full of high energy activities, exciting challenges and amazing fun using inflatables, creating a unique activity theme park to keep 5-13 year olds entertained.

It returns to Bradford Forster Academy during the upcoming half term holiday with three sessions on each day.

Take part in the Big Draw Festival 2018 at Cartwright Hall Art Gallery and have some fun with those HBs. Big Draw Festival aims to unite pencils and people from across the globe to take part in the language of drawing.

Join the Cecil Green Arts Lantern Parade on Friday 26 October and light up Lister Park and the Mughul Garden. A Museums at Night event, with fire jugglers and wonderful musicians.

Take an adventure! Non-stop, music-filled family fun with Madagascar at the Alhambra theatre from 23 to 27 October.

Every other Saturday from 20 October to 15 December

There are a series of free nature events for under-fives at Cliffe Castle Museum and Park in Keighley this autumn, every other Saturday until 15 December.

Events include nature play, stories and crafts including Halloween and Christmas themes. Activities will take place outside unless the weather is bad. Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing.
