BGS Director Dr Karen Hanghøj will share an overview of our new strategy, demonstrating the fundamental role geology plays in society. Karen will then be joined by senior representatives from across our science areas as we open the conversation and take questions from attendees.
Our new strategy focuses on four scientific priorities:
- securing the energy transition
- improving water security
- living with geological hazards
- maps and models for the 21st Century
