Ampthill Fire Station Open Day

Every year fire stations across the county open their doors to the public for an afternoon of fun for all the family.
The event is FREE and there is lots to see and do including:
- Meet the crew
- Live demos
- Colouring competitions
- Dunk a firefighter
- Take a look in the emergency vehicles
- Try out some of the firefighting equipment
- Refreshments
- Fire safety advice
Chief Fire Officer, Andrew Hopkinson said: “These events are a great opportunity to meet your local firefighters and find out more about the work they do, all while raising funds for The Fire Fighters Charity”.
We kindly ask for people to bring cash where possible. There will be stools and donation pots which contactless will be available, but not all. We have a dedicated picnic area at the event, so pack your blankets if needed.
