Saturday 9 September 10am to 12pm
We're launching Family Hubs in Bedford Borough with a morning of free fun activities and an opportunity to meet people from services that support families right across Bedford Borough at Queens Park Family Hub.
There'll be a magician and entertainer, face painting, a bear hunt, planting, and lots more for young children.
Our Family Hubs will join up and enhance existing services to ensure that all families can access the support they need, when they need it.

Don't forget there's also the Best Start Bedford website, a free resource for parents and carers of children aged 0 to 5 years of age and the practitioners that work with them.

Explore our beautiful little county on foot with over 35 walks to choose from.
There's something for everyone, from shorter Wellbeing Walks through to 6 to 7 mile circular walks and longer walks of 10 to12 miles.
Walks in Bedford Borough include Riseley, Roxton, Wootton, Priory Country Park, Bedford, Colmworth, Stagsden, and Ravensden.

The only UK touring show dedicated to the maestro and legend Barry White is coming to Bedford Corn Exchange!
Joined on stage by his Soul Unlimited Orchestra and supported by the stunning Motown trio, The Supreme Dreamgirls, this show has really “got it together” with vocalist William Hicks coming “as close to the real man himself as is possible.”

The Bedford Vegan Streetfest returns after a successful first event in 2022. Discover live music, a vegan bar, vegan street food, artisan bakers, craft brewers, ethical jewellers, sustainable chandlers, local artists, zero-waste champions, environmental charities and more, from 10.30am to 4pm in Harpur Square, Bedford, MK40 1PG.
Bedford has been a thriving market town since 1166, when King Henry II granted Bedfordians their original Charter to hold markets.
Traditional Charter Markets are held every Wednesday and Saturday in Bedford and on Thursdays in Kempston.
There is an additional general market on Fridays in Bedford, along with a number of special markets through the year.

Children aged six to twelve are invited to join local artist Marisa Straccia for an interactive workshop celebrating Bedford's Italian connections.
Use drawing and photo collage to discover more about Italy's most famous buildings and reimagine Bedford High Street.
There are two sessions, 11.15am to 12.15pm and 1.45pm to 2.45pm,, all materials are provided.
