Contract: 37 hours per week, full-time permanent

Bedford Borough Council is seeking to recruit an experienced Advanced HR & Payroll Transactions Officer to join their Transactions team on a permanent basis. This role will provide an efficient and effective HR and Payroll administrative service to the Council, Schools and external clients, for the employee lifecycle from contracts all the way through to leavers. It will also support various leaders and stakeholders on all HR & Payroll Transactions-related tasks.
You will be responsible for the delivery of timely, accurate and customer focused HR and payroll processes and administration services, delivering operational goals whilst driving on-going improvements and planning for our schools and mainstream teams. You will also deputise for the HR & Payroll Team leader
