Bedford Modern School is an HMC Independent Co-educational Day School located on the outskirts of Bedford. Our facilities are excellent and include a separate Junior School, dedicated Sixth Form building, purpose-built Science Centre opened in 2017 and extensive sports facilities.
We are looking for a hardworking and proactive Site Operations Manager to join our Estates and Facilities team. Assisted by a small team of caretakers, you will be responsible for scheduling and supervising a variety of caretaking and daytime operational requests to ensure the site and facilities are ready to meet the needs of the students and staff at the School.
The Site Operations Manager is an important member of the support staff team directing, leading, coordinating and developing cooperation and a teamwork ethos amongst the caretaking staff. If you have experience of working in a similar role, have clear communication skills, a good understanding of Health and Safety practices and proven supervisory skills then we would welcome an application. You need to also have a flexible approach to working hours, high standards and a positive attitude as no two days are the same.
