Compost bins and water butts at subsidised prices

Green waste

Have you tried composting at home? It's an easy way to reduce the amount of waste thrown into both the rubbish and garden waste bins and at the same time creates a great compost for your garden.

Water butts are a fantastic way to collect rain water to use on your garden and can help reduce your water bill too.

The Council offers 330 litre compost bins and 220 litre water butts at subsidised prices, find more information on this and other ways to reduce waste at www.bedford.gov.uk/ReduceWaste. Wormeries and a range of composters and composting accessories are also available to purchase but these other items are not subsidised.
