Communications Officer - Bedford Borough Council 

Contract: Full Time, Permanent, 37 hours per week

Salary: £32,798 - £34,373

Bedford Borough Council is seeking an excellent and enthusiastic Communications Officer who has a "can do" attitude and the ability to juggle conflicting priorities.

This is a great opportunity to develop your communications experience and we can offer you the chance to expand your skills. The role will include responsibility for overseeing reactive requests for our service, producing content, as well as video production.

You must have a good understanding of how the media works, excellent communication skills and the ability to work sensitively with stakeholders, develop outstanding relationships with directors, the Mayor and Councillors and be a collaborative member of the Communications team.
