Apprentice Town Planner - Bedford Borough Council 

Contract: Full Time Apprentice, 37 hours per week

Salary: £20,444 - £22,129

Closing Date: 7th July 2022

Bedford Borough Council is looking for two apprentice town planners from September 2022. The Chartered Town Planner Apprenticeship is a real job in planning enabling you to work and study at the same time. Successful completion of the apprenticeship will give you professional recognition and status as a qualified planner.

- Do you like looking at things from different points of view?
- Are you interested in the built environment and want to make better places where people live, work and play?
- Do you possess a minimum of 5 GCSE’s grade C/4 or above, including Maths and English, as well as possessing or expecting to possess by September 2022 either 3 A’Levels, grade BCC; or BTEC National Diploma MMM; or Town Planning Technical Support Apprenticeship – Level 3 Diploma; or Equivalent Level 3 qualifications worth 106 UCAS points.
- Are you committed and willing to study for 5 years?

If you have answered yes to all of the above then this apprenticeship is an exciting opportunity to ‘earn whilst you learn’. The apprenticeship is fully funded so allows you to secure a qualification with no tuition fees and earn a wage at the same time.
