Recycling Support Officer - Bedford Borough Council 

Contract: Full time, 37 hours per week   

Salary: £22,571 - £24,920 

Closing Date: 16th May 2022

If you have a passion for improving the environment, want to help Bedford tackle climate change and enjoy communicating this is the role for you.

 

As a Recycling Support Officer you will encourage participation in recycling and composting schemes as well as help roll out new waste services by means of face to face communications and other promotional activities.

 

You will also monitor the Councils waste contractors performance and advise Planning colleagues on how to reduce waste in future developments. This is a varied role where no two days are the same!
