Contract: Full time permanent (37 hours per week)
Salary: £22,183 - £24,491

Bedford is a thriving market town with its original Charter dating back more than 850 years when King Henry II granted it in 1166. A market has been held on St Pauls Square since the 1500s.
We are looking to recruit a reliable and enthusiastic individual to support the Lead Market Officer to develop, organise and manage the Councils markets. The main focus of the role will be to facilitate the smooth running of Bedford's markets, helping allocate stalls, collect rent and resolve day to day queries from traders.
Good communication skills and strong self motivation and an ability to work with a minimum of supervision will be required.
