Financial Assessment Officer - Bedford Borough Council 

Contract: Full time permanent (37 hours per week)

Salary: £22,183 - 24,491

An opportunity has arisen in the Assessment Hub to work with customers who have been assessed to require Adults Social Care.

The role provides advice and assistance to customers who are being financially assessed to determine their contribution towards their Adult Social Care care package.

You will be required to liaise with customers and undertake visits, both at home or visiting care establishments. You will be able to provide benefits advice and support the client to claim welfare benefits where required. You will need excellent ICT skills, and be able to communicate well.

Full training will be provided. You must have the ability to travel around the county and provide a car for business use.
