Technical Support Officer - Bedford Borough Council

Contract Type - Part time permanent (22.2 hours per week)

Salary: £20,092 - £21,748 (pro rata)

The Council is looking for an experienced technical administrator to support the work of the Community Regulation team based within the Environment Directorate.

The role is fundamental to the efficient operation of the team who work across a range of operational areas including private sector housing enforcement, noise and neighbourhood nuisances, environmental enforcement and pest control.

You must be an excellent communicator, be proficient in the use of a range of applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word etc, have a proven track record of managing their own busy workload successfully and be able to work under pressure to ensure deadlines and targets are met. Experience in the use of bespoke case management systems such as CRM Dynamics and Civica APP as well as the Agresso finance system would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be given.
