Weekly COVID-19 Snapshot
This week's snapshot shows that 241 cases of COVID-19 were found in Bedford Borough in the 7 days up to 21 February.
This is a decrease on the week before and the number of deaths has also dropped, although sadly 31 deaths were still recorded.
Thank you for all your efforts to follow the guidelines and protect your friends, family and communities. Please continue to:
- stay at home as much as possible
- only make essential journeys
- work from home where you can
- not meet socially with anyone you do not live with (or in your support bubble)
- exercise on your own, with one other person, or with your household / support bubble

Luton- 463 cases, 27 deaths
Central Beds- 259 cases, 28 deaths
COVID-19 Vaccine Update
People aged 65 to 69 and those who have been asked to shield are now eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine, in addition to those over 70 years old, residents in care homes, and health and care professionals.
As of 18 February 2021, 181,691 people across Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
When you are invited for the vaccine, please accept the offer to protect yourself and those around you. If you have missed your invitation, you can call 119 free of charge to make a booking.
