Winter Economy Plan

 

Recent announcements have been made to offer additional government support to provide certainty to businesses and workers, impacted by coronavirus across the UK. These include the new Job Support Scheme, the extension of the Self-Employment Income Support Schemes and Tax cuts and deferrals to give businesses more breathing space. Any businesses that have taken out the business loan schemes will also be given more flexibility to pay these back, over longer periods.

University of Bedfordshire’s Funded Business Support Programmes Time2Grow

 

Time2Grow is an EU funded programme designed to help businesses solve some of their most challenging problems by accessing a skilled graduate workforce.

 

Who is eligible?

 

- Any graduate from any University who has graduated within the last 5 years.

- The graduate will work in your business over a period of 10 weeks.

- The University will employ the graduate and fund 60% of their salary, costing you only  £5.29 per hour 

- You will receive CVs enabling you to shortlist, interview and appoint candidates.

ALPHAS

ALPHAS project is run in partnership between the University of Bedfordshire, The Open University and the University of Northampton. Together they offer access to useful webinars with business experts over a four week period.

Green Supply Chain & Procurement Webinar – 28th October at 2pm
