Fusion Lifestyle and Bedford Borough Council are delighted to announce the re-opening of Robinson Pools and Fitnese. The centre will open for group exercise and gym sessions on Wednesday 30th September and the pool will open on Thursday 1st October.
The centre will be operating in line with new government guidelines and those planning to visit will be required to book and pay online, minimising contact required at the centre and allowing for the track and trace process to be implemented. Gym users will be asked to arrive ready to work out, ready to go and swimmers with their costumes under their clothes, ready to go. The new measures, combined with meticulous cleaning routines, are designed to keep customers safe and offer complete confidence to use the facility.
Fusion Lifestyle has been working closely with Bedford Borough Council to deliver the safe, reopening of centres with the aim of delivering accessible leisure facilities for everyone in the area.
Bookings can be made up to seven days in advance by downloading the Fusion Lifestyle app or by visiting the centre websites to register and use the booking facility. Please refer to the website or social media later this week for when bookings will be live.
Anyone with questions about the re-opening of the centre can find more information about activities, bookings and prices, via a dedicated Bedford FAQ on the Robinson Pool website: www.fusion-lifestyle.com/centres/robinson-pools-and-fitness or email rswp-sales@fusion-lifestyle.com

From Thursday 24 September, the new NHS COVID-19 App is available. The app will record when someone enters a venue and scans an official NHS QR code poster, meaning that the venue information will be logged on the user’s phone.
The app can be downloaded via https://covid19.nhs.uk/.
Also it is now a legal requirement for businesses and venues such as community centres and village halls to display their official NHS QR code poster to support the use of the app.
This will allow NHS Test and Trace to contact customers with public health advice should there be a COVID-19 outbreak. An alternative check-in method must also be maintained to collect the contact details of those who don’t have the app, for example a handwritten register.
