What can go into your garden waste bin?

Yes Please:                                                     No Thanks:
- Grass cuttings  - Food waste 
- Plants and weeds - DIY waste eg soil, rubble, wood
- Flowers - Pet waste including bedding
- Prunings - Invasive weeds eg Japanese Knotweed
- Hedge clippings - Plant pots
- Leaves and bark - Plastic bags or sacks
- Pond plants - Garden furnture or fencing

Give home composting a go!

If you find your garden waste bin is always full why not try composting at home? It's an easy way to reduce the amount of waste thrown into both your rubbish and garden waste bins and at the same time creating a great compost for your garden.
