ESOL Assessment and Advice Officer - Bedford Borough Council
Salary: £27,905 - £30,507 per rota per annum
Contract: Fixed term for 7 months
Hours: Part time, 9 hours per week

This is an exciting new opportunity for an experienced individual to be part of Bedford Borough Council’s new English language service. Funded by the Government’s English Language Coordination Fund, the Bedford Borough ESOL Advice Service is coordinating and maximising ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) participation across the Borough.
We are looking for someone who has recent experience in carrying out efficient and robust ESOL learner assessments and can provide advice and support to adult ESOL learners to help them successfully engage in ESOL classes and learn English.
You will be responsible for carrying out ESOL assessments for adults ESOL learners and placing learners into suitable local ESOL provision.
