Half Term Family Activities

Get creative this half term with local artists and Red Phoenix Storytelling and Productions, all inspired by the Dreams and Nightmares exhibition.
Enjoy arts and crafts workshops by making your very own dreamcatcher to take home and imaginative surrealist collages using cutting and sticking. Create and perform fantastical stories in entertaining workshops for new and young storytellers, helping to build communication skills, confidence and creative thinking.
All workshops last for an hour and children must be accompanied by an adult - (free for adults and siblings under 4 years old).

Saturday Wellbeing

Saturday Wellbeing is back with a variety of relaxing and sociable activities, FREE for everyone to enjoy.
Have a go at new family-friendly activity Brusho Painting, alongside exciting boardgames to play against family, friends and other gamers. There's also Tea Party Poetry sessions, drumming workshops and a sound bath meditation where you can unwind with the wonders of sounds and vibrations of individually played instruments. No need to book, just drop in.

Dreams and Nightmares Gallery Tour
Wednesday 4th March, 12pm – 12:30pm

Take a lunchtime tour of Dreams and Nightmares before the exhibition closes on 22nd March. Don't miss this opportunity to gain more insight into the artworks on display from spiritual visions, spectral images, fairies, witches and romantic dreams. Highlights include works by William Blake, J.M.W Turner, Pablo Picasso and Edward Bawden.

Science Lab!

To celebrate British Science Week, enjoy a host of amazing hands-on STEM activities, ready to inspire the scientists, engineers and inventors of the future!
Activities, workshops, and demonstrations taking place at Panacea Museum, John Bunyan Museum, Basement @ Bunyan and Bedford Central Library, as well as The Higgins Bedford.
