To check your bin collection day and find out how collection days will change over the festive period, please use our online collection day finder.
If you're popping open a bottle or two of bubbly to welcome in the New Year, don't forget to collect up the empty bottles and take them to your local glass recycling site.
A full list of glass recycling sites is available online.
If your old Christmas and fairy lights are broken or old electronic devices have been replaced with new ones, don't bin them! Instead you can take them to the Household Waste Recycling Centre on Barkers Lane for recycling.
For more information on the items you can take and site opening hours please visit our website.

Did you know used household batteries can be recycled?
Remove batteries from any toys or games and put them in a small, clear plastic bag and leave this on top of your black bin lid on your next collection day. Please do not put them into or on top of your recycling bin.
Visit our website to find out which batteries you can recycle.
Or go one better and buy reusable batteries which can be used again and again!
