Are you over 70 years old and fancy giving our gentle activity sessions a go? All abilities are welcome and you will receive coaching in a friendly atmosphere. No need to book and for £4 you will also receive a tea/coffee voucher for after the session.
Classes at Bedford Central Library are on Mondays and Thursdays every week. Mondays - 11.15am until 12.15pm which include different activities to include chair based yoga, line dancing, stretch & balance, chair yoga dance and movement to music which change weekly*. Thursdays are from 10.00am until 11.00am and then 11.15am until 12.15pm for chair based pilates every week*.
Activities on a Wednesday are at Bedford International Athletics Stadium from 2.30pm until 3.30pm which include chair based pilates and table tennis every week and in addition, you can try out other sports such as kwik cricket, indoor archery, rounders, badminton and short tennis which change fortnightly*.
John Bunyan Sports and Fitness have activities on Tuesdays - 11.30am until 12.30pm to include chair based yoga and table tennis every week with a sporting activity of short tennis, badminton, indoor archery, volleyball, and indoor kurling which also change fortnightly*.

We are still seeking nominations from individuals, schools, teams, groups and coaches who have made a contribution to local sport during the last year and deserve to be recognised.

The deadline for nominations is Wednesday 20th November @ 5pm.
The awards ceremony will take place on the evening of Monday 9th December 2019 at the Bedford Corn Exchange.
