This Get Ready for Brexit event will include a panel of speakers providing information and answering questions, including:

- DIT: Export.
- Bedford Borough Council: Local preparedness to Brexit e.g. H&S, regulatory issues.

Brexit Readiness Event – Food and Drink Sector

The Government continues to prepare for the UK's exit from the European Union. To help your Food & Drink business to prepare for Brexit, SEMLEP have collaborated with Defra, Made in Northamptonshire, the Mallows Company and Moulton College to host a free Brexit Readiness event.The event will provide food and drink sector-specific information, advice and support to businesses looking to get prepared. The morning will consist of a presentation from Defra with a Q&A session and the chance to network with other businesses to share ideas and best practice around this topic.
During the networking, you will have the chance to speak to Defra, SEMLEP's Growth Hub and the Mallows Company about your individual business needs.

Environmental Law Update Seminar

The Green Business Network (GBN) are holding a seminar at The Forest Centre in Marston. With the penalties for causing environmental damage or breaching environmental regulations becoming increasingly tough, make sure you are fully up to date with your companies’ responsibilities by attending this session.
The Environment Agency will be providing information on your responsibilities relating to Duty of Care and waste regulations. Delegates can also ask in advance, for any subject they wish to have covered in detail, added to the agenda.
The formal presentation will be followed by a question and answer session and a quiz.
