Summer Reading Challenge begins 13th July

The Summer Reading Challenge takes place every year during the summer holidays.Sign up at your local library, then read six library books of your choice to complete the Challenge. There are exclusive rewards to collect along the way, and it’s FREE to take part! Simply sign your child up for a Space Chase folder and stamp card - then choose your books and take them home to read. There are 6 sticker sheets to collect, one for each of the first six books you read. When you have read six books you will get your Space Chase Certificate. For 12 books you will get a neon green Space Chase wristband, then for 18 books you can receive a gold medal! The Bedford Borough Community Safety Partnership (CSP) has launched the Community Safety Consultation and wants to hear your views on what you think about your local area, the town centre, how safe you feel and your concerns around crime and anti-social behaviour. The survey is open until 2 August.
