Sports and Physical Activity News - March 2019

Are you over 70 years old and fancy giving our gentle activity sessions a go? All abilities are welcome and you will receive coaching in a friendly atmosphere.  No need to book and for £4.00 you will also receive a tea/coffee voucher for after the session.

 

Classes at Bedford Central Library are on Mondays and Thursdays every week.  Mondays 11.15am until 12.15pm which include different activities for Chair based yoga, Line Dancing, Stretch and Balance, and Movement to Music which change weekly*.   Thursdays are from 10.00am until 11.00am and then 11.15am until 12.15pm for Chair based pilates every week. 

 

Classes on a Wednesday are at Bedford International Athletics Stadium from 2.30pm until 3.30pm which include chair based pilates and table tennis every week and in addition, you can try out other sports such as Short tennis, basketball, rounders, badminton, hockey and walking football which change fortnightly*.

 

A New Session has started on Tuesdays 11.30am until 12.30pm at John Bunyan Sports & Fitness to include chair based yoga and table tennis every week with a sporting activity of badminton, volleyball, indoor kurling, cricket, short tennis, and basketball changing fortnightly*
