Asset and Estate Management Support Officer - Bedford Borough Council

Salary: £18,870 - £20,541 per annum

Contract: Permanent - Full time, 37 hours

Closing date: 15 February 2019

Following the restructure of Economic Growth and Property an opportunity has arisen for an Asset and Estate Support Officer within the Asset and Estate Management Service. Reporting to the Team Leader for Asset Performance the post holder will contribute towards providing a comprehensive business support service. This will be an interesting and varied role covering procurement, financial management and office administration together with supporting the maintenance of the Council’s property database.

You will be a team player with good communication skills, a competent user of Microsoft Office together with experience of working with IT systems and in a similar office environment. The post requires good levels of numeracy and literacy, experience of working in a procurement role, an eye for detail and good organisational skills.
