Starting Tuesdays 11.30am to 12.30pm at John Bunyan Sports & Fitness to include yoga and table tennis every week with a sporting activity of badminton, short tennis, walking football and rounders changing fortnightly*.

Are you over 70 years old and fancy giving our gentle activity sessions a go? All abilities are welcome and you will receive coaching in a friendly atmosphere. No need to book and for £4.00 you will also receive a tea/coffee voucher for after the session.
Classes at Bedford Central Library are on Mondays and Thursdays from 11.15am until 12.15pm. Mondays include different activities for Yoga, Line Dancing, Stretch and Balance, and Movement to Music which change weekly*. Thursdays are from 10.00am until 11.00am and then 11.15am until 12.15pm for Chair-based fitness pilates every week.
Classes on a Wednesday are at Bedford International Athletics Stadium from 2.30pm until 3.30pm and you have the choice of three sessions. Fitness pilates and table tennis are on every week and in addition, you can try out other sports such as Short tennis, cricket, volleyball and indoor golf which change fortnightly*.

Mental health problems affect one in four of us, yet people are still afraid to talk about it. Time to Talk Day encourages everyone to talk about mental health.
Having conversations about mental health helps break down stereotypes, improve relationships, aid recovery and take the stigma out of something that affects us all. There are lots of different ways to have a conversation about mental health. And you don’t have to be an expert to talk.
However you do it, make sure you have a conversation about mental health this Time to Talk Day.

Riverside Tennis Club is to announce our new Women and Girls Tennis Programme for 2019 and we've teamed up with the This Girl Can campaign to bring the girls of Bedford some great opportunities to hit the court with us. We're really excited to be able to bring you a new Teen Tennis session on Fridays from 5.30-7pm in the New Year aimed at girls aged 11-14 . The session will be encouraging girls to get active and have fun whilst learning the game with one of our female coaches (Jovana Jankovic). We're also running a tennis workout session for Girls aged 14 and over and Women on Mondays too!
