Activities for children 

Look out for Half Term events at your local library where children can join in with a range of activities such as Chinese New Year crafts, heart paper weaving, and even making their own hedgehogs!

Remember that there's lots of regular activities going on for under fives and under ones in your library during term time too, such as Wiggles and Jiggles at Kempston Library and Under Fives Fun Time at Wootton Library, and they're all free!

Book a free 20 minute session with Mike Elliston at a Bedford Borough Library. Mike is a playwright and creative mentor, and is a member of the Writer’s Guild of Great Britain. He has worked with Lucasfilm and Sony Pictures, and his new play, TRAILER/Trash is being staged at The Quarry Theatre in April.

Britain on Film: LGBT Britain

Join us for a showing of LGBT Britain, part of a series of film programmes called Britain on Tour featuring treasures from archives across the UK presented by the Independent Cinema Office in partnership with the British Film Institute.

This is a free event and seats will be on a first come first served basis. The film contains a sequence of flashing lights which might affect customers who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy.
