Post Statutory School Age Transport

Bedford Borough Council is proposing changes to transport for post statutory school age students for the start of the 2017/18 academic year.      We are consulting on two options as follows:   • Provide transport assistance for eligible students of post statutory school age and charge the full cost of transport based on the average cost per pupil.   • Remove all transport assistance for students of post statutory school age.   Find out more and have your say here

Out of Hours Noise Service

The Council is proposing to end the Out of Hours Noise Service which operates annually during June, July and August only. We are currently consulting on this proposal and welcome any comments on it.

Council Tax Consultation

The Council Tax Reduction scheme sets out how the council offers help with meeting the cost of Council Tax. The Council is proposing to make no changes to it's Council Tax Reduction Scheme for 2017/18. We are consulting on this proposal and invite you to share your views.
