Duties:
- Use assembly instructions to carry out manufacturing process steps to the quality level and time scale required e.g. attach metal work to PCBs, apply compound chemicals to PCBs etc
- Ensure you are familiar with your department’s output production targets
- Complete all necessary paperwork and update databases to meet the requirements of the quality management system
- Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process
- Maintain to the highest level workmanship and product standards, and ensure no scrap is created
- Ensure the work area is kept clean, tidy, presentable and in line with our 5S programme

 Housing Support Co-ordinator | YMCA Bedfordshire
Duties: To work as part of the
Supported Housing Team to provide an efficient and effective service to clients
aged 18-64. Assess clients’ suitability
for YMCA Bedfordshire Supported Housing facilities and to provide ongoing
resident support around Independent Living Skills and working towards
successful resettlement also to work effectively with a range of professionals
and stakeholders to ensure the management and success of placements.
As a Support Co-ordinator you will
assist the scheme manager in the general day to day management of the service
and will manage a caseload of residents. You will work with residents who have
a wide range of issues related to homelessness.
You will be expected to present a good professional role model to the
team and build supportive relationships with residents, helping them to achieve
as much responsibility and independence as possible for their own lives.
You will also be expected to hold a
minimum Level 2 qualification in a related role
e.g. Chartered Institute of Housing Level 2 Certificate in Working with
Homeless People, and attend training as and when required. You will need to
have, or develop, working knowledge of CAPITA and input Support Plans and Risk
Assessments online as well as assisting the Housing Officer in managing
applications and the paperwork attached to this.
You will assist the Housing Officer
in managing voids and bad debts and will contribute towards the overall target
for the organisation. You will also be responsible for liaising with external
agencies in ensuring the comprehensive support of each resident and also the
Youth Participation Coordinator to encourage residents to attend activities.
You will be responsible for developing and managing an ongoing project with
residents.

 Full-time Domestic Abuse Practitioner Faces - Bedford
Duties: With a team of dedicated volunteers, the post holder
will work to support victims and their children in keeping them safe from harm.
The post holder will visit families in their own home to provide both emotional
and practical support.

Main purpose of job:
Working in the busy Land Sales and Strategic Development Department, you will be responsible for co-ordinating the day to day administrative demands, along with dealing with telephone enquiries in a pro-active manner necessary to meet tight deadlines. The role offers a diverse and interesting workload.
Key responsibilities:
- Meeting and greeting clients on arrival.

Grants Officer

We are looking for a highly skilled, experienced and enthusiastic Grants Officer to join our Funding Team to grow our grant income to support our much-needed services.
The Grants Officer will be primarily responsible for developing and writing grant proposals to Trusts and Foundations, and will persuasively communicate the charity’s mission and projects to potential funders. Reporting to the Funding Manager, the Grants Officer will research and identify potential grant funders, assemble and submit grant applications, establish and maintain personal contact and relationships with funders, submit grant reports and maintain a calendar of submissions and other deadlines.
The post-holder will be based in Bedford.
Salary: £20,700 – £24,686 per annum plus stakeholder pension.
