Get Online Week continues throughout November

This year we are going all out to get as many people online as possible! We are offering free sessions on a range of subjects to help IT beginners develop their digital skills and make the most of the online world.

You will find topics from looking after your health online, to using online public services; managing your money online, or looking for work. We also cover the very basics of using computers and the internet, so if you feel like a complete novice, don't panic!

Sessions continue in November, and can be booked in our libraries.

Spotlight on Bromham Library

Psst, have you heard? There's so much happening at Bromham Library!

Wednesday mornings see the under fives singing their hearts out at Rhymetime. Monday afternoons have imagination-fuelling Create Club, or the fortnightly Knit and Natter crew, telling a yarn or two. Lego Club has launched on Friday afternoons, and on 11th November, you can bring your teddy to the library to meet the Bookstart Bear!

The Gems of Bedford Heritage Library

Every Tuesday Bedford Heritage Library opens its doors to reveal some of the gems of Bedfordshire's past.

Whether you are local historian, family history researcher, or simply curious about the towns and villages around you, the Heritage Library is full of rare and intriguing photographs, documents, maps, newspapers, journals, directories and postcards.

Browse through the world-renowned John Bunyan Collection. Read the Edwardian postcards sent from Bedford. Find out what businesses were running on your ancestors' streets. Read the local papers from over 100 years ago. Peruse the Gentleman's Magazine. Make the past spring to life, and see the county with new eyes.

Beep Beep, Beep Beep, Yeah!

Are you tackling the challenge of your Driving Theory Test, or know someone who is?
