Duties: Maintain inventory supplies by receiving, storing and dispatching items; securing warehouse and supervising staff:

• Control all aspects of the warehouse 
• Ensure inventory is managed 
• Deliver material to production by receiving and transferring items 
• Maintain storage are by organising floor space recommending improvements 
• Ensure stock is managed and the highest levels of stock are accurately maintained 
• Ensure the strict control of material with QAD 
• Resolve problems 
• Identify warehouse improvements Contribute to warehouse information and KPI's for planning and review 
• Manage staffing levels, assigning work in line with business requirements 
• Carry out training and coaching where necessary 
• Comply with health and safety standards 
• Maintain good levels of 5S 

Qualifications and Skills required: 

A qualification in warehousing and storage would be advantageous

• Inventory control with PART numbering systems 
• ERP systems 
• LEAN principles 

All training will be provided on QAD, Agile and Cogiscan 

Working Hours: 37 Hours P/W 

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 P/A 

Full-time | Quality Inspector | Asteelflash 

Duties: 

• To ensure the quality of products manufactures by AFB meets customer requirements through quality control, quality engineering and auditing activities. 
• To perform in-process (line) inspection of SMT and conventional through hole PCB assemblies  to IPC-A 610, (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies) standards up to class 
• To perform pre-pack inspection audit (final inspection) of box built assemblies 
• To assist in production in making products right first time 
• Use data to monitor process trends and where required suggest actions to improve performance. This will be done via QCRC methodology 
• Liaise with supervisors regarding quality issues to ensure Production Operatives are aware of any adverse quality problems and that timely action is taken 

Qualifications and Skills required: 

• NVQ or equivalent in quality assurance 
• 3 years in manufacturing environment 
• Ability to read drawings 
• Used to working within quality systems and processes 

Training will be provided in the company's quality and business systems

Working Hours: 37 Hours P/W 

Salary: £20,000 P/A

Team Leader Rehabilitation Assistant | Christchurch Group 

Duties: To lead the support team in the day to day care of residents to best practice standards and within the relevant guidelines, incorporating legislative compliance. To provide a stimulating and developmental environment for residents whilst ensuring employee and employer needs are achieved. 

Qualifications or skills required: NVQ Level 3 as a minimum 

Hours: 39.5 hours per week 

Salary: £8.65 per hour

Full-time | Mechanical Technician | Bourns Limited 

Looking for a proactive mechanical technician with some past college / apprenticeship experience who is looking to develop their skills and demonstrate their capabilities within a reactive and initiative-driven role. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver a planned and responsive support service to ensure continuity of site services to contribute to the continued future success of the business. 

Skills and Experience required: 

• Minimum of NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering 
• Have completed an apprenticeship of similar training 
• Flexible approach to work and multi-tasking as required 
• Good communication skills and IT literate 
• Ability to liaise with and sometimes negotiate with external providers 
• Basic PC knowledge e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook 
• Ability to work effectively in a team 
• Clean driving licence 
• Willing to work 6 week rotating work pattern; 42 hours/week as part of a team covering 24/7, 365 days a year 

Salary: c.£25k depending on experience + an excellent benefits package
