A site in Creswell has been secured against anti-social behaviour thanks to Bolsover District Council officers.
The land is privately owned but had become an anti-social behaviour hotspot. Due to the secluded nature of the spot, it had attracted fly tipping, crime and people lighting fires.
The Council’s community safety team intervened and placed an order on the land to secure the site.
A new consultation is now live as Bolsover District Council seeks views on its Animal Welfare Licensing Policy.
The Animal Welfare Licensing Policy aims to create a consistent, transparent and fair animal licensing regime which promotes high standards of animal welfare in licensed establishments across the district. The policy explains how the Council will carry out its responsibilities under animal welfare licensing legislation and provides a clear framework to help the Council, licence holders, applicants, and the public understand how the animal licensing regime operates within the district.
