 Bolsover District Council debated and voted on the Council's preferred option for Local Government Reorganisation on Wednesday 5 November.
Following the vote, Council Leader, Councillor Jane Yates made a statement explaining the reasons behind the choice and why she is backing the decision.

A resident from Shirebrook has paid a £300 fixed penalty notice for a waste offence.
The fly tipping was found on Brunner Avenue and reported to Environmental Health. The offender was identified and paid the fixed penalty to avoid prosecution.

A driver from Northampton has paid a £100 fixed penalty notice for littering a coffee cup from their vehicle near Tibshelf.
The incident was reported to Environmental Health to investigate and the driver was identified. They admitted the offence and paid the fixed penalty to avoid prosecution.
