Earlier this week Bolsover District Council made the difficult decision to close Mill One of Pleasley Vale Business Park due to structural safety concerns.
This was done to ensure the safety of the tenants using the building, following advice from Derbyshire Building Control Partnership.
On Thursday 16 October, council and Dragonfly Management officers held a meeting with Derbyshire Building Control Partnership and the appointed Structural Engineers to review the information presented in an earlier structural report. This was then followed up with a site visit in the afternoon to allow the Structural Engineer to re-assess, on site, the risk to the B/C/D block of the building.
The risks have been presented to the council and the decision has been made that some tenants can return and occupy their unit in the building.
