 The old Coop building in Bolsover town centre is being secured with hoarding as plans to bring it back into use get underway.
Bolsover District Council received £15million regeneration funding from the government in their autumn statement 2024 and a portion of that money is being used to develop the old Coop site.
Hoarding is being erected to keep the site safe following instance of trespassers accessing the site and causing damage. These measures will keep the building and residents safe while a consultation gets underway to ascertain the views of locals on the best future use of the building.
A flat in Clowne has been shuttered due to Courts granting a successful Closure Order.
The property was subject to a Closure Order due to ongoing Anti-Social Behaviour and alleged criminal activity taking place. Evidence for the closure order was obtained as a result of Partnership working with Derbyshire Constabulary Safer Neighbourhood Teams and Environmental Health Enforcement Teams.
