Our latest InTouch magazine has been distributed to households across Bolsover District over the past week.
The magazine is aimed at informing residents and businesses what we are doing on their behalf as well as including local community information.

We are a finalist in two major awards from the Municipal Journal (MJ), the online management journal for local authority business.
The MJ awards acknowledge the tremendous work and effort those in local government dedicate to supporting their local communities and providing activities and benefits on their behalf.

We have seen an increase of nearly 40% in people using our online forms in 2023/24.
14,028 forms were completed in 2023/24 compared to 10,042 in 2022/23 resulting in a 39.69% increase.

Bolsover resident, Darren Keyworth co-owns Trident Aid, a charity which delivers humanitarian support to the people of Ukraine.
After visiting the country in 2019, Darren fell in love with its people and started to raise money and aid.

A band that was originally set up to encourage people to play instruments and bring a bit of music to Blackwell is going from strength from strength.
Three years ago, the Unity Concert Band started with just 14 members but now has over 40 and the band are gearing up for their next concert on 27 April at Newton Community Centre.
