27 April Hardwick Hall
Blow away the cobwebs on this fun and friendly running challenge, designed to cater for runners of all abilities.
This 6-hour run challenges you to push yourself to see how many laps you can complete during this time. Each lap is 6.28km which means if you complete at least 4 laps then you would have run a half marathon, if you complete 7 laps, a full marathon!

3 to 5 May Carr Vale FC
Three days of live music is on offer courtesy of Valefest.
The festival takes place at Carr Vale FC in Bolsover and offers music from Millie Manders and the Shut Up, W.O.R.M, Shanghai Treason, Headsticks and Pork Pie.
There will also be a range of stalls and food vendors as well as children's entertainment.
Full weekend and day tickets still available. Camping is available on site.

19 to 22 April Bolsover Parish Church
Come and see wedding dresses and memorabilia from down the decades in this wonderful exhibition.
On Saturday 20 April there will be a wedding themed concert by Rachel Abbott and Musetta from 2pm.
Lunches will be served on Saturday and Sunday between 11am and 2.30pm.

The winding engines will be running from 10am until 2pm with a mining film showing in the old cafe room.
Pleasley Colliery offers a captivating glimpse into the area's mining heritage. With more than 150 years of history it has become a cherished destination for those interested in the rich legacy of coal mining.
