Walk to Work Day is the chance to change up your routine and walk to work.
Many of us live sedentary lifestyles and adding a brisk walk into our day can vastly improve our health. For many, walking all the way to work just isn't possible. If that is the case for you, why not try walking part of your journey? Maybe park further away from your office or walk to the next bus stop before starting your journey.
Reducing your usage of cars, buses and trains not only benefits your health but also helps the environment. So why not give it a go, and you never know, it might turn into your new commute.

This is the second Mother Earth Day and it is an awareness day focused on getting the earth back on track.
Ecosystems support all life on earth. The healthier our ecosystems are, the healthier the planet - and its people. Restoring our damaged ecosystems will help to end poverty, combat climate change and prevent mass extinction. But will only succeed if everyone plays a part.
