Over the past year the Robin Hood Line Community Rail Partnership, along with a group of dedicated volunteers, have been working hard to celebrate the rich and exciting heritage of the Midland Railway between Mansfield and Worksop, having been built in 1875.
The group have carried out research to see how this railway has boosted the local economy since 1875. As a result, heritage interpretation panels have been installed on all stations between Kirkby-in-Ashfield and Worksop, a booklet has been produced, a mobile exhibition is touring the area and a dedicated lecture is available for community groups to hear.

We want our children to embrace technology, but you can’t be there 24-7 so how do you know what content they are accessing and when?
Well, a Stanfree man has developed an app that can do just this.
