The award-winning illustrator and former Children's Laureate, Chris Riddell, is coming to Creswell Crags for an exclusive evening event set in one of the caves at the Archaeological Park.
On Saturday 14 October, Chris will be reading poetry from the most recent book he has illustrated, ‘Gods and Monsters’ in the amazing setting of Robin Hood Cave, before returning to the Museum to deliver a live talk and drawing session.

Following last year’s sell out performance of Gilbert and Sullivan highlights, Bolsover Civic Society have once again booked Dore G&S for an evening concert in the Assembly Hall on Saturday 21 October from 7.30pm.

We have now undertaken this review and have produced a consultation document 2023 which explains the purpose of the review.

The last Bolsover Artisan Market of 2023 will be staged this Saturday, 7 October.
A market where you can get everything from home-made cakes and breads to cards, hand-made flowers and pictures.
Staged in the town centre, there are over 40 stalls to browse around as well as the plethora of independent stores, shops, cafes and public houses in the town centre. And why not make a day of it and visit Bolsover Castle as well.
