Children across Bolsover District can enjoy a holiday activity club where they can express their individuality and creativity whilst also receiving support for their emotional wellbeing.
Called Release, the club is delivered over four-days per week for four-hours per day. The children are introduced to street dance and hip hop techniques and are able to learn a routine and a song along with understanding how to construct their own song or rap to express their emotions.
They receive their own songwriting book and pencil and will be given a performance opportunity where they can share their work at the end of the week and showcase what they have achieved.

Grants are being made available for local community or voluntary groups in Bolsover District to help them develop community facilities and activities.
The grant scheme has been developed in partnership with Efficiency East Midland and applications for the scheme are welcomed from those that can demonstrate local support for a project.
If you know of, or are involved in, a community group that you think could benefit from this funding then why not apply? To qualify for the award the group must:
- Help bring communities together
- Improve quality of life
- Benefit tenants/residents in an area where we have properties.

We want to better understand the private rented sector.
This includes what works well and areas for improvement and the actions that we should take to address them.
The feedback from this survey will help to improve the private rented sector and the support offered to tenants, as well how we can improve the private rented sector and the support offered to landlords.
