15 June 2023
Clean Air Day, the UK’s largest campaign on air pollution, is happening on Thursday 15 June 2023.
The theme is - Clean up our air to look after your mind this #CleanAirDay.
The campaign is focusing on the fact that cleaning up our air is good for us in many ways: it not only benefits our physical health and the environment, but can also protect our mental and brain health.
A big thank you to volunteers from Premier Foods who came along to our Lark Rise Community Woodland in Creswell.
They helped to water, mulch and replace missing sticks and guards on some of the young trees planted last winter.
They even donated some goodie bags to help raise money to support the Woodland.
Thank you!

17 June
Plastic Free Beauty Day was founded to help us rethink the plastic beauty products we take for granted.
It's a great opportunity to have a look and see what you can switch out for more environmentally friendly options.

June is 30 Days Wild month.
The Wildlife Trust created a 30 day challenge where they ask the nation to do one wild thing a day throughout June.
This could include having breakfast with the birds, feeling the grass between your toes or watching wildlife webcams.
There is no structure so you can take part in a way that suits you. Alongside benefiting your local wildlife, taking part in 30 Days Wild is scientifically proven to make you feel happier, healthier and more connected to nature.
It's not too late to join in!
